The walls are adorned with the requisite sports paraphernalia and you will find the necessary number of screens to keep sports fans switched on. But when it comes to the clientele you’re likely to encounter families and young after-work professionals – frankly not the sort of people you expect in a sports bar.
A play on New Zealand, South Africa, and Australia, Nezesaussi is to sports bars what rugby is to football (it’s a bit posher). It’s not too posh though, which is why we think it’s more often than not busy. The food isn’t gourmet but it’s not bad, and while the service can be a little on the inattentive side, it’s essentially good quality, a smart pub that serves a decent selection of reasonably priced pub grub in hearty portions.
