Chef Ian Kleinman was inspired by the 1971 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film to start The Inventing Room in 2009. He wanted to make something fun, creative, and completely original.
The Inventing Room has been assisting people in rediscovering their childlike wonder since the first explosive moment. They are proud of the Willy Wonka-inspired roots. But don’t take yourselves too seriously, because we’re all about having a good time and shocking the senses.
What’s the end result? A spectacular dessert counter. Liquid-nitrogen frozen treats like steaming popcorn or Oreo Space Foam will reawaken your sense of wonder. Alternatively, make your own sinister nitro dessert.
The Inventing Room has two concepts: a dessert store and a catering service.
