It is a beautiful monument designed in a way to be seen from all parts of Kalba. The tower design was inspired by modern Islamic architecture, with a spacious dome covered with gilded mosaic. Various Islamic decorations deck the facades of the building.
His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated the Clock Tower Square in March 2022.
The tower is surrounded by a series of innovative water fountains, which operate on the clock system. The fountains divide into 12 main fountains representing the number of hours and 60 sub-fountains representing the number of minutes.
