Creekside Japanese Restaurant is a true taste of Japan and Asia with fantastic views on the Creek.

The all-you-can-eat classic Japanese buffet is usually reserved for Friday-morning brunches, but Creekside makes a habit of it, serving everything from sushi rolls to seafood barbecue.

While the atmosphere is uncharacteristically muted, the Japanese fare is decent – the time it right and a visit to the tempura station will reap freshly battered vegetables or prawns, and the maki rolls are replenished regularly.

Waitresses are on hand to advise how each fish or crustacean should be cooked, and the chefs at the outdoor barbecue oblige accordingly – they even deliver the grilled delicacies back to guests’ table, clothes peg and all.
