What could be better than a place where you can enjoy your favorite cup of coffee or tea while still petting cats in a calming environment? A cat cafe, to be exact. At the beginning of February, Cat Cafe Vibrissae opened in Al Safa 1, offering residents access to its 15 fluffy residents. The word “vibrissae” refers to a cat’s whiskers.
The cats in Vibrissae are not for adoption, and you cannot bring your own pets into the cafe, no matter how much you love them. They all go to the vet on a regular basis to make sure they’re safe and up to date on their vaccines.
The pet paradise is equipped with everything your four-legged friends could love, including a large climbing wall, swinging hammocks, and plenty of comfy places to relax.
There’s still plenty of space for humans to unwind, with a fantastic coffee menu and plenty of toys to help you get to know your favorite animal. Adults pay Dhs49 per hour and children pay Dhs39 per hour to participate in the fun.
