Bruno’s Biergarten is a Bavarian-style restaurant and beer garden at Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach, in one of Dubai’s busiest beachfront neighbourhoods. It opened in September 2025 and adds a new option to JBR’s food and nightlife scene. The venue celebrates Bavarian culinary traditions with a Dubai twist, and it is built around its mascot, Bruno the Bear, who turns up at events and gives the place its personality.
Rather than a quiet restaurant, Bruno’s aims for a festive, social evening: long tables, steins, music and themed entertainment. The hotel’s General Manager, Michael Goetz, has described it as a passion project, “more than just a restaurant”, that blends authentic Bavarian traditions with Dubai’s social spirit. It suits groups, birthdays and casual nights out, as well as visitors who want a change from the usual JBR beach clubs.
The cooking is rooted in Bavarian classics, with bratwurst among the signature items, and is served alongside beer and a lively bar programme. [verify: add specific menu items, beer list and prices from the official menu]
Bruno’s opened with a month-long Oktoberfest celebration featuring Bavarian feasts, themed entertainment and appearances by Bruno the Bear. Since then it has run seasonal events, including a Halloween night brunch and an Easter brunch. The Halloween night brunch listed à la carte pricing from AED 50. Check the official page for this season’s calendar.
Bruno’s welcomes four-legged guests, which is not common among Dubai restaurants. Pet owners can bring dogs along for a meal, which works especially well during Dubai’s outdoor season.
