Wadi Bih Run – Hatta

Wadi Bih Run will celebrate 28 years with the Hatta edition held at Hatta Wadi Hub on February 5, 2021.

Participants get to conquer one of the UAE’s most rugged terrains on foot by choosing one out of the 4 challenging routes i.e. 70km, 35km, 20km or 10km to run on. Runners can admire the exclave’s natural landscape and its dramatic rugged scenery. This 35km long course is split into 10 stages of different lengths and elevation levels which goes through the Hatta border mountain (607m altitude), plantation, and kayak lake.

Information about the Wadi Bih Run – Hatta:

• Solo participants depart via a mass start at 06:15 AM and teams will begin from 06:30 AM;
• Every solo runner should carry a mobile phone for emergency use;
• No valuables such as wallet, phone etc. are allowed in the bag drops;
• Each relay team should have 5 runners with at least one female runner;
• School or family teams should have 2 adults present on the team;
•  Teams must have a 7 seater, 4×4 vehicle;
• Teams should be self-sufficient as support stations are available only for solo runners.

Individual participants can take part in the solo 10Km, solo 20Km and solo 35Km run while teams can run team 35Km and team 70Km race. There are also provisions for camping overnight the day before the event at the venue. Prizes for the program include watches from Suunto GCC and vouchers up to AED 500 from Dawson sports.

Registration will close by February 2 2021 or earlier if the event gets fully booked before then.
