In its 8 year McLaren Cup 2017 will be held from 20th of January to 3rd of February, 2017 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
McLaren Cup is part of The Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series, an 18 Goal Handicap tournament and it is one of the highest tournament in the UAE.
The Gold Cup Series is the fourth-largest tournament of its kind after Argentina, the US and the UK.
The tournament is the premier regional polo competition of the year, and attracts VIPs, society figures, and senior corporate executives from across the GCC. It is played under the banner of the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA).
