Mantra is a well know Nepali Rock band from Darjeeling, formed in 1999 who will be coming to perform in Dubai for the first time which is expected to draw large number of Nepali crowd living in UAE from Nepal, Darjeeling, Sikkim and other parts of India.
Within no time, the band got popularity in Nepal and has produced many patriotic songs which has become popular in Nepal and India. Its music and lyrics are well appreciated
by Nepali youths, therefore remains very popular in the Himalayas. The band has performed at various places all over the world collecting appreciation and large number of fan following wherever they go. They have won many awards like ‘Rock O’ Phonix’ Alcheringa at the IITG cultural festival held in Guwahati, Assam and Gangtok Rock Contest, where Praggya took home the award of Best Lead Guitarist. Mantra also went to perform at the highly prestigious Great Indian Rock held in New Delhi at 2006. They were selected as the best twelve band from all over India. Their tracks ‘Sanskriti’ and ‘Himali Nepali’ are their songs that were nominated in the Annual Hits FM Awards for the Best Rock Composition
