To be ready for the big Mai Dubai City Half Marathon in DIFC, there will be a virtual warm-up run to train competitiveness and sports routine. Each participant gets to choose whether they run a 5km or a 10km or both in the week. The virtual run allows participants to run at any time and on any route as long it is in their home on a treadmill, or outdoors.
The goal of a virtual warm-up run is to prepare runners’ bodies for the full steam ahead pace of the race and to avoid shocking system and can run efficiently from the first step and can reach your race goal. This preparation run may ease the training routine to be ready for a challenging half-marathon. Registration closes on Wednesday, September 30, or sooner if the event is fully booked.
The categories are as follows for both 5km and 10km:
• Male/Female 16-19;
• Male/Female 20-29;
• Male/Female 30-39;
• Male Female 40-49;
• Male/Female 50-59;
• Male/Female 60-69.
All results will be verified and published together and once the results are approved the winner in each category gets a FREE ENTRY to the Mai Dubai City Half Marathon in their preferred distance on October 23rd.
