The Al Wathba Hill Challenge returns toAl Wathba Birdcage Mountain, where participants can try themselves at cross country run with the climb exercises. Amidst the dunes and sand roads, it is a challenging run for sports fans.
Participants will choose either 1 Climb (5Km) or 2 Climbs (10Km) of the hill also known by runners as “Birdcage Mountain” with the Scorpions Tail lead up the hill being a real test of stamina. Participants can run it or walk it depending on the level.
The 10Km composed of two climbs will lead off first in a rolling start format followed shortly after by the 10 Km of one climb. After completing the respective run, all runners will receive a finishers’ medal.
*Following the precautional measures, registered participants are asked to collect their race bib from the Gulf Multi Sport office.
