The world’s longest desert ultramarathon will take place from 11th to 15th of December 2018 at the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve.

Al Marmoom Ultramarathon offers participants three grueling distances to choose from; the world’s longest desert run at 270km, as well as 100km and 50km ultra runs.

This challenging self-sufficient race takes in four different routes and 5 stages over 5 days, including overnight camping (water and tents are provided).

Runners will cross mixed terrain of hard sand and soft rolling dunes all in the stunningly beautiful Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve.

Being held under the umbrella of Dubai Sports Council, the Al Marmoom Ultramarathon is the ultimate measure of human athletic endurance testing physical strength and mental stamina. Participants will compete for a total prize purse of US $80,000, including collectible trophies and medals.
