Al Ain Oasis Run

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council presents the Al Ain Oasis run on  10th October in the tranquil Al Ain Oasis.

Al Ain Oasis will see a great mix of family, heritage, fun and fitness, as the second edition of the running competition – Al Ain Oasis Run will feature several distances and categories. This year, the Oasis Run event will include an open run with various race categories for both males and females of different ages – Masters, Juniors, Teens, and Kids.

Al Ain Oasis Run distance options:

• 2.5 Km (1 loop run),
• 5 Km (2 loop run),
• 10 Km (4 loop run).

Before start at 04:30 PM, participants are advised to collect their race bib prior to the event at the West Gate Entrance to Al Ain Oasis. Also, all the participants will receive a certificate, medal, photos and other refreshments.

Since 2011, Al Ain Oasis has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site, however, only after the construction of shaded pathways that wind through some 147,000 date palms, it became open to the public providing a unique insight into the region’s inhabitants.
