New Year’s Eve Caravanserai

Hilton Ras Al Khaimah is set to bring the caravanserai to life and herald the New Year through a spectacular fireworks display.

The New Year celebration promises to bring the experience of Caravanserai where guests can exchange culture, conversations and food which will refresh their bodies and invigorate spirits before going forward into the next phase of their journey i.e. 2021.

Features of New Year’s Eve Caravanserai:

• Bazaar of the Caravanserai era which offers luxurious carpets, precious incense, exotic spices, candles, rich oils and wild honey;
• Entertainers and bonfires to liven up the night;
• Gondola rides around the salt pool;
• Donkey rides on the beach;
• Variety of dishes from cuisines like Asian street food, pasta dishes and Turkish dessert delicacies.

‘Caravanserais’ were small settlements built in the desert to act as resting stops for traders and travelers passing along the established trade routes. These were havens of safety where travelers could rest safely and trade more freely. Guests can dress up for the occasion to catch a glimpse of a stretch of the Silk Road with a stop in a Caravanserai for a unique end of the year celebration.
