Grammy-award winning storyteller Bill Harley will be streaming live on Facebook every Tuesday and Thursday, starting from March 31 until the quarantine is over.
Bill Harley is an American children’s entertainer, a musician, and author known for a unique style using different musical genres and his audience include both children and adults. Harley began singing and storytelling in 1975 while still in college, he uses song and story to paint a vibrant and hilarious picture of American life based on autobiographical materials.
After working in schools for about 35 years, Harley focuses on relaying the message of orality versus literacy to the students. In addition, he performs at storytelling festivals around the country including appearances at the National Storytelling Festival. Harley has also published numerous books and was called “the Mark Twain of contemporary children’s music” by Entertainment Weekly.
