Jason Derulo is R&B and hip-hop star, at just sixteen he was writing songs for artists like Lil Wayne, Pitbull and P. Diddy, as well as studying the intricacies of musical theatre. When he decided to record his own music, he took the world by storm.
Derulo’s first single ‘Whatcha Say’ sold over 5 million digital downloads in 2009 earning the new kid on the scene triple-platinum status. Since then he’s sold over 50 million singles, and ‘Whatcha Say’ has become the most widely played radio single of all time, surpassing Madonna, Bieber, and Timberlake for air time.
