The HOLO show has impressed global audiences by seamlessly blending music and 3D holographic projections, creating a unique AV experience that celebrates technological and musical innovation This October, for the first time in the Middle East region, HOLO comes to Dubai as the closing show of GITEX GLOBAL, presented in association with pioneering festival and cultural brand Sónar – a standard bearer for music, creativity and innovation since its first edition in Barcelona in 1994.
Various international DJs will be performing at the event before the main star steps on the stage. The event is promising to be one of the biggest shows in the region and a highlight of the 2024-2025 season.
HOLO is the creation of Eric Prydz, who as a recording artist with multiple aliases including Cirez D, and head of the Pryda label, has been a key influence on the evolving sound of EDM for more than 15 years. Similarly committed to shaping the future of the live experience, the HOLO show merges together state of the art technology, lighting and laser arrays to create mesmerizing effect. The core of HOLO is the ‘Holosphere’, two suspended LED screens that shoot holographic 3D projections in an experiential journey soundtracked by Eric Prydz’ unique blend of progressive house, trance and techno. The show is a second collaboration between HOLO and Sónar, following its performance during the festival’s 30th anniversary in June 2023.
