The Lineup:
Berlin-based and American native Matrixxman headlines Boogie Box on July 6 for his Dubai debut. Known for his stripped-down, driving Techno sets, Matrixxman has become a staple at world-renowned venues such as Berghain, Dekmantel, DGTL, Fabric, Fold, Fuse, and Tresor. His production work spans notable record labels including Dekmantel, KSR, Planet Rhythm, and Planet X. His recent album showcases his versatility, blending dubstep, UKG, and eclectic sounds, described as “an album with 19 tracks of dubstep, UKG, and some other shit thrown in there for good measure.”
A stalwart of the Middle Eastern dance music scene, Adam Rahman returns to Boogie Box, a party he has been a regular guest at since 2011. As a DJ, promoter, label co-owner, and festival coordinator, Adam has significantly influenced dance music across the Middle East, India, and beyond. He is known for his pioneering WARPED nights, which introduced cutting-edge techno to a region dominated by more traditional music scenes. Adam’s music has been released on various international labels, including his own KitchenSync Records, and his DJ sets are celebrated worldwide, with notable mixes for Resident Advisor and representation by Bleep in India and DCS4 in Europe.
After a decade balancing a career as a flight attendant and DJ, Pooja B moved to Berlin in 2021 to fully embrace her passion for music. She quickly made a name for herself in the Berlin techno scene, playing at iconic venues such as Tresor, Boiler Room, RSO, and Watergate. Pooja’s sets are known for their energetic grooves, brain-massaging frequencies, and dark industrial textures, reflecting her deep understanding of dancefloor psychology. Her music production often includes socio-political themes, and she is committed to promoting FLINTA and BIPOC artists. Pooja also hosts a radio show on mental health in music spaces on Refuge Worldwide, fostering a loyal and supportive fan base.
