Singer/songwriter, producer and actor Akon (Aliaune Damala Badara Akon Thiam) gained worldwide popularity after the release of his debut single Locked Up from the album Trouble in 2004. And the second album of the musician Konvicted received three Grammy nominations. Several of his songs received the title twice and thrice Platinum.
Senegalese-American vocalist Akon is known for his R&B-style vocals, which are featured in his own hit songs as well as collaborations with famous hip-hop artists.
