Zeina Barhoum is a Jordanian classically trained Soprano and the founder of Alcántara music and art series. She launched her first album, Alcántara, under the patronage of HRH Princess Wijdan Al Hashemi and in partnership with the Italian Embassy in Jordan. The title of the album reflects Zeina’s dedication to building strong connections between different cultures through her music.
Zeina is known for her innovative and creative talent, embracing the rich aspects of Classical Opera, Arabic classical songs and western classics. Her current successful signature is on the operatic, formative Arabic – Western crossover music scene. Barhoum’s aim is to keep bringing Opera to Jordan and the Arab world to continue bridging people and growing appreciation for this genre of music.
