Described as a ‘dream landscape on the power and poetry of water’, Waterlicht is a monumental, interactive public light installation which uses a combination of LEDs and lenses to create an ever-changing layer of light, the effect of which is to feel immersed under water.
Waterlicht, created by the renowned Dutch innovator and artist Daan Roosegaarde, celebrates Jameel Arts Centre’s opening at Jaddaf Waterfront and will be on display at Jameel Arts Centre’s Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park. It’s free, but registration is needed as there is limited space.
