One of the greatest Arab singers who ever lived, Umm Kulthum, also known as ” Kawkab Al Sharq” or “Star of the Orient” had mesmerized audiences for over 50 years with her unparalleled voice and raw emotional power. Her legacy continues to have a great influence on the Arab world.
Singer-songwriter Ghalia Benali started her artistic career in 1992, blending different types of music, connecting different cultures; reviving the old and rooting the new is a natural outcome of mixing the two extremes she lived through.
