Pianist Alexandra Dariescu brings her innovative multi-media performance of The Nutcracker and I to the Dubai Opera stage on 12 December.
The story of The Nutcracker will be performed with a grand piano on stage, played by Dariescu herself, a ballerina behind a see-through gauze screen and exquisite hand drawn digital animations projected on a gauze. This incredible fusion of reality and technology will leave the audience feeling as though they are in and a part of the Nutcracker story.
Be enthralled by Tchaikovsky’s beloved ballet music featuring favourites such as Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Arabian Dance, Chinese Dance, Pas de Deux, and the Flower Waltz in 15 virtuosic arrangements.
