Theatre by QE2 is bringing the classic sounding of 60’s legends back to life onboard the QE2 on February 26, 27, 28.

Rolling Stones and The Beatles are some of the most legendary rock bands ever. Let’s look back at those times, when such hits as “Satisfaction” and “Paint It Black” were everywhere and “Get Back” and “Hey Jude” were atop the charts, the ‘Mini’ was the car to have, and great music filled with guitars and harmonies could be heard anywhere you went.

Rolling Stones is are an English rock band formed in London in 1962. They had pioneered hard-driving blues-based rock & roll to define hard rock. The band members are Mick Jagger (lead vocals, harmonica), Keith Richards (guitar, vocals), Charlie Watts (drums), and Ronnie Wood (bass guitar, backing vocals). The Rolling Stones have released 55 albums of original works and sold over 200 million records worldwide during their career spanning over 45 years.

The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. The band members were John Lennon (keyboards, harmonica, bass guitar), Paul McCartney (bass guitar, keyboards, drums), George Harrison (sitar, keyboards, bass guitar), Ringo Starr (drums, percussion), and others. They contributed a lot to music, film, literature, art, and fashion, made a continuous impact on popular culture. By early 1964 the band had become international stars. Nowadays, it is considered that The Beatles changed rock’n’roll history.
