On Saturday, Dubai Opera will be broadcasting the live performance of the legendary band, The Boxtones. They are playing a modern mixture of pop, jazz and rock with Celtic songwriting sensibilities, blended with an alternative sound and pounding rhythms.
Dubai-based group, The Boxtones is a multi-award winning Scottish & Canadian rock/pop band. In the meantime, they also received “Ahlan! Hot 100” title for their innovative entrepreneurship in the Middle East, and became dual winners of the annual Hype and Time Out Awards 2017.
During a global lockdown, the Boxtones has been practicing in sounding and creating new hits. Thanks to modern technologies and social networks, all band lovers can enjoy their favorite hits “Against the Odds”, “City of Mirrors”, “Home ” and surely, some new debut songs.
