Culture Summit will conduct panel convening cultural leaders from the fields of the arts, heritage, museums, media, and public policy, to identify ways in which culture can foster participation and engagement and support societies and communities worldwide. Such a crisis reminds us more than ever the value of culture and the power of its connection across communities.
This platform brings together in an interactive debate and artistic experience such people as HE Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak Chairman at DCT Abu Dhabi, Ernesto Ottone R. Assistant Director for Culture at UNESCO, Melanie Noronha Senior Editor in Economist Intelligence Unit, Alexandra Munroe Samsung Senior Curator of Asian Art, Rebecca Lyons Director of Collections and Learning at Royal Academy of Arts, Marisa Henderson Chief at UNCTAD.
Culture is the resilient force that can connect us in such challenging times cultural dialogue and a curated series of musical performances from American songwriter Desmond Child, violinist Yarub Smarait, Lebanese pop-singer Mayssa Karaa, Jazz singer Faris Ishaq, Egyptian singer Ahmad El Haggar, Slovenian Trumpet Player Timotej Kotnik and many others.
