The Sukhishvili Georgian National Ballet was established in 1944 by dance legends Iliko Sukhishvili and Nino Ramishvili. It is one of the most famous dance ensembles in the world. Since its foundation, the company rapidly gained a reputation that spread far beyond the borders of Georgia and has participated in the world’s most famed concert halls and venues.
Their repertoire is the richness of their culture, it is an exotic mixture of East and West, retaining the essential spirit of its homeland – Georgia – and reflecting the fierce and natural beauty of majestic mountains and vine-clad valleys, endowed with natural wonder and rich cultural heritage.
