Skyfall at the Dubai Opera

Dubai Opera celebrates Global James Bond Day with a Skyfall movie screening along with a glamorous red carpet event on October 5.

The official James Bond Day is celebrated annually around the world on this day, October 5. The year of birth of the cinematic character is considered 1962 – the year of the release of the first James Bond film Dr. No.

The film, which viewers will see at the Dubai Opera on that day, was chosen by vote. And the favorite movie about agent 007 among fans of the franchise turned out to be Skyfall, in which the main role is played by Daniel Craig. When James Bond’s latest assignment goes terribly wrong, it leads to a catastrophic turn of events: undercover agents around the world are exposed, and MI6 is attacked, forcing M to relocate the agency. With MI6 now compromised inside and out, M turns to the one man she can trust: Bond.
