Sharjah World Music Festival 2017

In its 4th year, Sharjah World Music Festival will start on the 6th of January, 2017 where Arab and western artists and musical bands from 13 countries will perform for Emirates audience.

Sharjah World Music Festival will feature 24 award-winning international artists from France, Spain, Holland, Ukraine, the United States, the UAE, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Cuba, Columbia, Egypt, and Jordan. Performances will take to the stages at Al Majaz Amphitheatre, The Flag Island Theatre, Al-Qasba Theatre, Al Majaz Waterfront and Al Qasba.

The festival’s audience will enjoy a variety of musical genres including Arabic contemporary pop, Arabic traditional, Indian sitar, soul jazz, a classical European dialog (between accordion and strings) and Gypsy Latin and Flamenco. Sharjah World Music Festival 2017 will be organized by Furat Qaddouri Music Centre and sponsored by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq).
