Sharjah Film Platform supports film production in the United Arab Emirates and the region and provides a critical platform for both established and aspiring filmmakers and also allows viewers to stay up to date on all the new products and trends in cinematographic art.
In addition to the screenings of over 150 narrative, documentary, and experimental films by local, regional, and international filmmakers from over 40 countries, the 2019 edition of Sharjah Film Platform will feature talks, workshops, and filmmaking awards.
