Alserkal Avenue announces live entertainment action with new artists from across the city. Sadiq Jaafar is a well-known personality famed for performing as a solo artist and alongside many of the Arab world’s traditional artists. Sadiq’s main instrument is a traditional oud, which tunes he blends with contemporary styles.
Having studied at the prestigious Baghdad College of Fine Arts, Sadiq Jaafar has been performing as solo oud. After some time, Sadiq decided to blend traditional oud with contemporary genres such as jazz and flamenco. Now, Jaafar will be celebrating the best of his Top 10 selling debut album, “Arabian Night”s, and his follow-up album, “Oud Vibes”.
