Dubai Opera has announced the performance of the pioneers of Jazz – Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club with show program “Giants Of Jazz”. Since the creation in 1959, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club succeeded in the world with ground-breaking concerts performing modern jazz and jazz fusion.
Inspired by Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gilespie, Buddy Rich and many other big names, saxophonists Ronnie Scott and Pete King gathered to create a special show with a post-war jazz vibe combined with images, stories, and anecdotes about some of the musicians. Making its way to Dubai Opera, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club will showcase the musical journey through the last 100 years of jazz.
This concert will feature music, film and images starting with early New Orleans roots and ending in the present day via the golden age of jazz. This is a unique evening celebrating the music and history of Ronnie Scott’s heritage. The Jazz music fans can’t miss the performance of one of London’s iconic talented artists of jazz and blues.
