This second concert featuring rising stars of classical music represents the talented Moreau family. Siblings Edgar (cello), Raphaëlle (violin) and Jérémie (piano) will perform Tchaikovsky’s unique piano trio piano – a tribute to the dear friend who has passed away. The performance will also be followed by a piano trio by Brahms, a rhythmically challenging piece, providing a larger-than-life feel to the work.
Raphaëlle and Edgar began their musical journey at the age of four. In 2011, Edgar won second prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition at the age of 17, while Jérémie won first prize in the Flame Competition. In 2017, Raphaëlle was chosen by Renaud Capuçon to receive the Livio Benedetti Award. Despite their successful solo career, Moreau brothers and sisters still gather together to perform their melodious artworks together.
