Emirates NBD Classics Season 8 presents the world-renowned Hindustani classical music legend Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma for the first time at Dubai Opera on February 8.

The legend Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, an Indian classical musician, and a renowned santoor player, will perform live, presenting Hindustani Classical Fusion in his unique style. Shiv Kumar Sharma became famous because of his improvisations with santoor (Indian folk instrument) and he revolutionized it as one of the most riveting classical instruments. He is single-handedly responsible for making the santoor a popular classical instrument. With his creative genius, he has created a new genre of instrumental music.

Each season of the Emirates NBD Classics brings splendid evenings of a higher order musical macrocosm. On the whole, the season presents an awe-inspiring diversity of talent, symphony, and performance.
