Ahoy there! Get ready to set sail on an extraordinary adventure at Dubai Opera on May 12, 2024, as the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and Dubai Festival Chorus, under the baton of conductor Anthony Gabriele, present Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” live in concert. Composer Hans Zimmer’s complete score, featuring the iconic music of Klaus Badelt & Hans Zimmer, will be brought to life in a thrilling cinematic and symphonic fusion.
Join us for a swashbuckling journey through the 18th century as we follow the roguish yet charming Captain Jack Sparrow, portrayed by Johnny Depp, on his quest aboard the Black Pearl. Led by the dynamic Anthony Gabriele, the orchestra will guide you through the treacherous waters of Captain Jack’s escapades, with the horns accentuating the thematic complexity of Zimmer’s original score.
This first installment of the beloved Pirates of the Caribbean film series, inspired by the Disney Parks attraction, captures the adventure, mystery, and magic of the high seas like never before. Watch as Captain Jack Sparrow’s idyllic life takes a tumultuous turn when his nemesis, Captain Barbossa, played by Geoffrey Rush, steals the Black Pearl and unleashes a curse upon himself and his crew, turning them into the undead.
