“Pinocchio” Film Screening

Cinema Akil announces classic fairytale adaptation – “Pinocchio” film screening from October 16 to 29.

Dubai-based Cinema Akil presents the Italian fantasy drama “Pinocchio“, which tells a world-known story about a wooden puppet brought to life at the behest of a poor, lonely woodcarver. The movie is based on “Pinocchio’s Adventures” written by Collodi in the late 19th century, but Pinocchio’s story is still relevant to the present days.

Directed by Matteo Garrone, the “Pinocchio” movie combines real and fantastic worlds. The journey brings viewers to fantastical creatures, the animal kingdom, and the world of the imagination. The film features significant elements of the fairytale, creating a child-friendly movie with its fair share of charm, eccentric humor and warm feeling of authenticity.
