On Thursday, Dubai Opera will be broadcasting the live performance of NOON, who is known for its unique mix of funk groove, African and Indian percussive rhythms and electronic effects.
Formed in UAE, NOON consists of three performers from different cultural and musical backgrounds, the instrumental trio represents an idea of East and West musical fusions using oud, the classical music sounds of Middle Eastern, combined with electric bass and drums, and improvisatory impulses of jazz.
