The Fridge provides an online streaming concert of Niki Mukhi Quintet, unique homegrown musical acts bringing the best original live set of Jazz, groove, and improvisation. The quintet will be playing compositions mixed with Indian classical, Flamenco, and West African music.
This five-piece band features Niki Mukhi on electric and slide guitar, King Osas on alto sax, Arindam Chakravarty on the tabla, Opoku Sanaa on bass, and Ratish Chadha on the drums. After recording for BBC documentaries, the band started working with jazz, flamenco, Indian, classical, electronic and pop artists around the world.
