New Order will perform live at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis stadium in The Irish village Garhoud Complex on 7th of April.
New Order are an English rock band formed in 1980, currently comprising Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris, Gillian Gilbert, Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman.
By combining post-punk with an increasing influence from electronic and dance music, New Order became one of the most critically acclaimed and influential bands of the 1980s. The band’s 1983 hit “Blue Monday”, the best-selling 12-inch single of all time, is one example of how their sound became increasingly uptempo and electronic.
In Dubai this iconic band will be playing tracks from their latest album Music Complete complemented by a selection of their greatest hits which could include “Blue Monday” ,”True Faith”, “Bizarre Love Triangle”, “Thieves Like Us”, “1963”, “Regret” as well as the haunting Joy Division anthem “Love Will Tear Us Apart”.
Supported by Dubai DJ legends – Tim Cheddar , DJ ME and DJ Rude Larry.
