Plaza Francia Orchestra is an international musical project created by a trio of famous musicians, headed by French band vocalist Catherine Ringer.
Inspired by the dance orchestra tradition, ‘las tipicas’ from the Argentinian tango the Orchestra performs compositions by Argentine Eduardo Makaroff and Swiss Christoph H. Müller, who have met in Paris during the creation of Gotan Project in 1998.
They have written and produced music for feature films, documentaries and advertising. From their soundtrack of the movie « El Gaucho » by Andres Jarach, they created in 2008 an album of the same title, their first release as ‘Müller & Makaroff’.
