This concert will represent the international composer and Kamanche Master, take his musical language one step forward while melting together deep traditions and ancient instruments from the past with modern sounds. The Kamanche is an Iranian bowed string instrument used in Persian, Azerbaijani and Kurdish music.
Mark Eliyahu is one of the most remarkable and respected figures in Israel’s music scene today. In his “Let it go” tour, Mark Eliyahu combined ancient instruments such as Kamanche and Tar with modern and futuristic electronics taking his music one step forward into a deep journey of sound. He has played at the Nobel Prize Ceremony with the philharmonic orchestra, and other numerous festivals like the Jerusalem Piyor Festival, the International Ud Festival and more.
