“La Grande Bellezza” Movie Screening

Cinema Akil invites visitors to the Oscar-winning movie, “La Grande Bellezza” screening starting from July 15 to July 23.

Dubai-based Cinema Akil presents La Grande Bellezza or The Great Beauty screening,  summer-long series of a timeless classic movie. Oscar-winning Italian art drama about Jep Gambardella, a journalist navigating Rome’s deep beauty and superficial inhabitants.

Directed by Paolo Sorrentino, the movie tells a story about true love to travel and discovering new exquisite beauty of life. Having only one successful novel, Gambardella mingles with the city’s literary and social community, his career is at a standstill due to a creative block. On his 65th birthday, he is forced to take stock of his life, looking beyond the city’s nightlife to reopen the glory of Rome.
