The Festival will celebrate the Year of Tolerance. It will be the third Korean Film Festival in the UAE. Korean movies have become popular in recent years around the world. During the festival, viewers will be able to see nine films specially selected to present Korean cinema.
Opening with the film Innocent Witness, selected films such as Romang and Emirati film Nearby Sky that are showing the lives of minorities of the societies are programmed to share the great values of tolerance. The year 2019, also marks the 100th anniversary of March 1st Independence Movement and Establishment of the Korean Provisional Government. Korean films Mal-Mo-E: The Secret Mission and A Resistance will be screened to commemorate the historic events.
