Korean Cultural Center celebrates the culture of Korea with the Korean Festival 2019, which will be held from October 15 till November 9.

Korea Festival has been hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development of the United Arab Emirates since 2013. The event has become a symbol of friendly relations between the two countries.

The Korean festival celebrates the Year of Tolerance in the UAE and the first event of the festival will be the Year of Tolerance art exhibition, which will bring together the most prominent artists of Korea. The exhibition will be held on October 15 at the Cultural Foundation.

On October 24, the first part of K-Music Night will start with the joint performance Dubai Arabic Orchestra and opera singer Fatima Al Hashemi from the UAE, as well as Gong Myoung and 2nd Moon from Korea. The finale of the night will be a performance by K-Pop boy band D-Crunch. The second part of K-Music Night on November 7 will be a concert of a popular K-Pop group B.I.G (Boys in Groove) who have taken social media by storm following their outstanding covers of Arabic hit songs.

Special cooking class with a Buddhist monk Jeong Kwan will be held on November 1 for the public and on November 3 for professional chefs at Korean Cultural Center, where she will share her temple food recipes and philosophy. Furthermore, there will be a session to experience Baru Gongyang (formal monastic meal) with her on November 5.

From October 16 to October 18 Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) are hosting Korea Brand & Content Expo 2019 Dubai at Dubai World Trade Centre which will include exhibitions on Korean brands and creative content as well as a K-Pop concert featuring some of the most popular artists including Seventeen, SF9 and actress Ha Ji Won.
