The event is aimed at raising much needed funds and changing the lives of children around the world. The ball will be held at the stunning Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah and promises to be a spectacular evening for an excellent cause.
This time the charity fundraiser will be launching a host of brand new initiatives such as the Giving Tree initiative, which allows to “grant a wish” for the children who are a part of a long-standing charity project at Gulf for Good.
The part of the black-tie event is a welcome reception, a delicious themed three-course dinner and live entertainment. The charity evening includes an auction and raffle featuring Dubai’s favourite TV and radio host, Tom Urquhart, who has been supporting Gulf for Good for over five years.
Gulf for Good works with the local community and corporates, encouraging people to involve in fundraising for vulnerable and disadvantaged children around the world.
Larchfield Children’s Home is a Gulf for Good sponsored project in Tanzania. An orphanage and school being built for children who have been abandoned by their parents, either due to disease or death.
In 2020, the international charity projects will focus on improving access to basic education for all children in Thailand, Nepal, Uganda, Peru and Lebanon.
