Dubai-based Cinema Akil presents the 1994 Italian drama Il Postino or The Postman, a remastered edition of moving tale of poetry, love and friendship and politics mingle, which has won many awards including an Academy Award for Best Original Dramatic Score and multiple BAFTAs.
Captivating by a truly breathtaking landscape, this poignant tale centers around Pablo Neruda, a famous Chilean poet, who is exiled to an island where he finds work as a postman.
