Sound of Egypt Orchestra will make an evening unforgettable representing Film Drama Music with Ahmed Atef on April 1.
Founded in 2013 by Ahmed Atef, the Sound of Egypt Orchestra has established itself as an important channel for music and musicians to present their work, aimed to shed light on Egypt’s incidental music, incorporating film scores, music for television series and theatre plays.
The musical program of the orchestra has wide-varied from the classics and patriotics of Egyptian cinema, the international selections used in classic Egyptian movies and also to the rendition of the soundtracks of Hollywood movies as the “Harry Potter” theme song or Hans Zimmer’ score of “The Dark Knight”.
The orchestra combines classical orchestral instruments, oriental instruments and Western band instruments, as the main goal to provide a quality of instrumental music, written with professional music tools of orchestral distribution and polyphony to suit the audience’s taste.
