The late Egyptian songbird and actress, Umm Kulthum will be revived on a tribute concert dedicated to her noteworthy career during a state-of-the-art hologram gig this August at Dubai Opera. Umm’s resonant voice captured the Arab world for decades and still can be heard in Egypt’s streets, cafes, taxis, and Nile sailboats.
After a debut edition last year, the same team who brought Umm Kulthum to life is recreating the magic for fans who missed the show or would like a second chance to relive her greatest classics hits including “Enta Omri” and “Alf Leila wa Leila” with 20 accompanying artists, and also there will be the debut of a brand new song called “Al Atlal” – an additional surprise song on the occasion of Eid.
