This unique group will bring a live concert infecting the audience with the energy and uncanny verve to every song they sing. Renowned by critics, their albums have received several awards, along with 3 JUNO Nominations, and their latest album “Home” consists of all Canadian music along with some original compositions.
Living in Toronto, but inspired by Australian arrangers such as Stephen Taberner, Rachel Hore, Diana Clark’s Brazilian vibes, CADENCE a cappella ensemble has been performing across Canada and around the world for over 20 years. Their concert experience counts jazz clubs, concert halls, music festivals, schools, etc.
The band is made up of David Lane (baritone and bass), Ross Lynde (tenor), Lucas Marchand (tenor), and Kurt Sampson (bass and vocal percussion). Each of them brings many years of training and performance experience to create a memorable musical event for all ages as their repertoire is based on world music, folk music, and contemporary standards.
