The bright and luxurious atmosphere of Arabian fairy tales will unfold in front of the audience. The ballet trilogy created by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov tells the story of king Shakhriyar and the beautiful Scheherazade.
First act unveils a mysterious eastern world in the majestic and dramatic court of the king, where passion, love, and revenge reverberate through palace nights. The second act opens at the “bazaar of extraordinary tales” from the sands of time. The final part of the performance is a return to Arabic heritage and tradition, with a journey to the days of the caravanserai, a unique place for encounters in which travelers from all walks of life rested after their long journeys.
